[edit] Notes on the Pattern
- The pattern doesn't call for a specific gauge, therefore you can use any yarn you want. Randi Knudsen
- Branching Out is a lovely pattern, but while the instructions say it's a good first lace project, I think it's probably a good second or third lace knitting project. The pattern was not easy to memorise, at least for me anyway. The scarf works well in a thicker yarn, I found that 8 ply alpaca & silk was wonderful. Thinner yarn didn't work so well for me. Jejune
