Materials:
Scraps of dk weight yarns in various colours
2 inch square loom
4 inch square loom
2x4 inch rectangular loom
Pattern for 1 Patchwork Square:
Make one 4 inch square, four 2 inch squares and four 2x4 inch rectangles.
Sew one rectangle to the side of the 4 inch square. Sew another to the opposite side.
Sew a small square to each end of the remaining two rectangles and sew these strips to the remaining sides of the main piece.
A 48 inch square afghan can be made with these patchwork squares following the outline below.
