Washcloth made from Oddball-Sampler Afghan Square
The sample cloth was knit using the Celtic Braid Square

Materials:

1 knitted square from the Odd-Ball Sampler Afghan, made with cotton
Approx 10-15 grams extra cotton
1 set 4.5mm double pointed needles (if you used dk weight yarn),
or 4mm needles (if you used worsted weight yarn).

Tension: 20sts and 28 rows st st to 10cm (4 inches)

Method:

Pick up 47sts along each edge of your square and arrange evenly on 4 needles. Work the garter st edging in the round as follows:

1st Round: Purl

2nd round: (Inc, K to last st on needle, inc) repeat for other three needles.

Repeat these two rounds until you have 55sts on each needle. Cast off, continuing to make increases in the cast off round so that the corners remain sharp.
