For both skulls I used 2 strands of a 6 strand embroidery cotton.
For the floral skull, work the outline in running stitch, backstitch for the nose and lazy daisy stitch for the eye flowers, with a french knot in the centre of each eye.
For the plain skull, work entirely in outline stitch.
